University of Liverpool International Summer School

The University is pleased to be able to offer scholarships to talented athletes competing at national and regional levels.

Our mission is to nurture and provide the optimal environment for athletes to achieve their goals and thrive in university life. We can help you reach your full potential, on and off the field of competition.

Two support packages are available:

• BUCS Performance Athlete Programme – athlete support package

• High Performance Athlete Programme – athlete support package plus grant.

The range of support across both programmes includes:

• Performance gym access

• Athlete workshops

• One-to-one nutrition and psychology advice

• Physiotherapy

• Bespoke strength and conditioning programmes

• Premium sports centre membership

• Athletic Union membership

• Athlete mentoring

• Anti-doping advisory service

• Graduate transitions service

• Leisurewear.

A very limited number of grants, worth up to £3,500, are available through the High Performance Athlete Programme.
