Bedford School has a proud sporting tradition and enjoys a well-deserved reputation for success in the main sports of cricket, rugby, rowing and hockey. The facilities are excellent and include a Astro-turf complex with floodlights, indoor heated swimming pool, sports hall, tennis and squash courts and immaculate playing fields.

Music plays an important role in the School and the stunning £3m Music School is home to one of the largest Music Departments in the country. Tuition is available for many instruments, from piano, organ, guitar to even harp.

Bedford is a lively community of full boarders, weekly boarders and day boys. The School is well known around the world and attracts students from a wealth of cultures and nationalities. The School only has a small percentage of International Students overall, of around 14% from over 31 nationalities.
